ICFS Presents: Blind Cop 2 — He’s Back for the Very First Time!

A sequel to a film that doesn’t exist, “Blind Cop 2” is both a homage and a satire of the hyper-macho straight-to-video movies that owned the shelves of mom n’ pop video stores throughout the ‘80s. This will be a special event screening with some of the key creators of the film and a surprise pre-show that you won’t see coming! As with other ICFS events, expect prizes, surprises, comfy couches, and a convenient bar.

Blind Cop (George Fearing) was once the symbol of justice and heroism in his ailing city, foiling criminals without even needing to see them. But then his partner was gunned down on the job. Now a shell of his former self, Blind Cop slips into miserable alcoholism and reckless misconduct until a drunken car chase provides him with a new lead regarding his partner’s murder. Fueled by his need for revenge, and desperately short on allies, he turns to an optimistic young man (Isaac McKinnon) who still sees him as a hero. The quest for answers and retribution quickly spiral out of control as Blind Cop’s vigilantism leads them both down a bloody path they may never be able to walk away from. 

This kickass, gutbusting indie film was created by a small team of dedicated upstate NY filmmakers, yet – despite a small budget – their outsized ambition succeeded in accruing kudos at numerous film festivals throughout the U.S. and Canada.
