A View From the Line: A Chorus Line 50th Anniversary Panel Discussion
Featuring Capital District residents and ACL alumni Debra Pigliavento, Michele Pigliavento and Michele Tibbitts. Moderated by Robert Whiteman.
The evening will be an intimate conversation with personal stories and memories from the Broadway, International, and National tour productions led by Michael Bennett, Baayork Lee, and other original production team members. There will also be photos, mementos, and an original Broadway finale costume on display.
This year, 2025, marks the 50th anniversary of the opening of this groundbreaking production on Broadway and has been marked with several special events in New York City including a special upcoming Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade live performance. We are taking the opportunity to celebrate the occasion in the Capital District by hearing directly from three local professional performers who worked directly with members of the original cast and creative team.
The panel discussion will also remember and honor other Capital District residents associated with the production, including Don Percassi and Robert Lupone, who originated the roles of Zach and Al respectively.
